Sommerfly's Relaxer™ is a personal sized weighted blanket for sitting or reclining designed to relax and help reduce stress for adolescents and adults. It's gentle but firm pressure to the skin has the same calming effect as our other weighted products. It's a great size to take traveling too!

Sommerfly's Relaxer™ Weighted Blanket for sitting or reclining can help almost anyone calm down, but is particularly effective if you struggle with the effects of the following difficulties or disorders: anxiety, stress, Mental Health Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) or Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

Relaxer™ Weighted Blankets comes in sizes small, medium and large.

Maximum wearing time recommendation is 30 minutes per occasion as the effects start to diminish. Multiple occasions may be appropriate throughout the day. Our products should be used under the supervision of an adult.

To determine the correct size please view the Sizing Guide below and then click on the image to add The Relaxer™ to your shopping cart. Remember that the 10% of body weight convention that is used when standing or carrying a weighted product does not apply to sitting and/or lying down positions. The weight is better determined by personal preference. Our guidelines are based on the feedback of may individuals that have tried our weighted products.

Materials/Construction: The Relaxer™ Weighted Blanket is made with 100% cotton corduroy and filled with a non-toxic and hypoallergenic PET pellet material which is BPA and phthalate free. The pellets are sewn into a 100% cotton bag that is inserted in each chamber to prevent the pellets from escaping! Each blanket is double stitched around the outside and then twice on the bottom hem. The corduroy fabric was selected for its softness but also for its durability in holding up to the weight of the blankets. You will quickly notice the high quality workmanship and materials. We believe we have the highest quality blankets on the market!

Washing/Drying Instructions: You may machine wash your Relaxer™ and you may dry it in the dryer on low heat or on a drying rack. For the Medium and Large Relaxer™ weighted blanket sizes please check your washer and dryer instructions for weight recommendations. It may be better to wash these in a commercial washer and dryer.
